Purchasing Agent Duties and Responsibilities

Inventory Control

Manage Receiving clerk

Price Negotiating with all Vendors

Work closely with Production, Sales, and Engineering department.

Track current inventory and order. new shipments when necessary

Track all purchase orders.

Weekly and Monthly Reports.

Purchasing Agent Requirements and Qualifications

Experience with office software, such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Quick books

Purchasing experience of 5 -8 years required

College degree a plus

Strong communication abilities

Must Be Organized
