An upscale, high performance South Shore, Long Island Salon & Spa company is looking for a Receptionist whose responsibilities include, but are not limited to, everyday operation of the front desk, salon and spa. The successful Salon and Spa Receptionist will be a self starter with exceptional multitasking skills, be willing to work as part of a team in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment while maintaining a positive, professional attitude.
Essential Duties:
Provide superior customer service while encompassing our standards
Answer multi-line phone system and respond to client emails in a timely manner
Exhibit time management skills and ability to self-start, possess the ability to prioritize tasks
Flexible availability including week nights, weekends and/or some holidays
Schedule clients, check-in/check-out following our protocol
Elevate the client experience by offering enhancements and additional services
Communicate with all co-workers and clients in a friendly, professional manner
Educate clients and close out retail sales that will provide client with the maximum benefits
Complete side work and closing duties directed by co-workers or managers
Be positive, outgoing and energetic
Attend all meetings and training required of your department
Qualifications and Experience:
Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
Prior experience in sales & retail, hospitality, customer service and/or salon/spa industry strongly preferred
Experience with salon/spa software and Microsoft office is preferred and general computer knowledge is required
