We are seeking a NYS licensed and experienced Auto Appraiser to join our team and All shop positions available
Appraiser requirements:
The ideal appraisal candidate will be responsible for evaluating vehicles to determine their necessary repair costs. Experience with CCC is a must. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive repair processes, and the ability to negotiate effectively with clients and insurance companies. As an Auto Appraiser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate assessments that align with industry standards.
Responsibilities include:
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess their damage and cost of repair.
Prepare detailed estimates outlining findings and recommendations for repairs or restorations.
Collaborate with insurance companies to come to an agreed price.
Stay updated on industry trends, vehicle values, and repair techniques.
Provide expert advice on auto repair processes as needed.
Maintain accurate records of appraisals and related documentation.
Skills required:
Strong negotiation skills to effectively communicate with clients and insurance companies
Some mechanical knowledge of automotive systems, including engines and electrical systems.
Experience in underwriting processes related to vehicle evaluations.
Familiarity with CCC automotive estimation software.
Expertise in auto estimating procedures.
