Our direct government client in Long Island City, NY is looking for an onsite 7.5 hour day W2 consultant for a 1+year Finanical Data Analyst role. LMK if interested.Must be on our W2 (no corp to corp or 1099)Must be 100% vaccinatedMust be able to work onsite M-F 7.5 hour dayPosition DescriptionFinancial Data Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing and collaborating on reports/analyses within the Finance Division which will include: Job-Costing Analysis, Soft-Cost Analysis, Completion Cost analysis, and other legally-mandated reports.Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepares financial analyses/reports using Oracle SQL, Excel, and Crystal Reports
- Develops complex queries/scripts and automates periodic reports
- Using Data warehouse and other Oracle tables, prepares presentation quality reports and analyses
- Analyzes financial data stored in Oracle Financial Systems
- Works to ensure integration of accurate and complete data sources
- Performs effective presentations on complex ideas that can be communicated in a simple straightforward manner
- Writes policies/procedures and documents methodologies used to create analyses
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, advanced analytics and delivering actionable insights from data
- Understands data relationships with strong critical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong knowledge/experience with SQL and excel
- Experience with Oracle databases, Microsoft SQL server, Crystal Reports, R, Power Bi, and Oracle Financials is a plus.
