Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for Project Manager in Manhattan, NY.
As per the directive on July 26th from the Office of the Mayor, The City of New York under the COVID-Safe Requirement, all new hires must either: Provide one-time verification that they are fully vaccinated OR Provide a weekly record of a negative PCR test as evidence that they are in compliance with the mandate.Any employees who have not provided proof of full vaccination must wear a face covering, regardless of test compliance, unless they have been granted a reasonable accommodation.Description:The client is seeking a highly experience Project Manager with experience managing cyber security and/or IT infrastructure projects in high pressure environment. The PM should have very strong command of IT industry standards, strong communication and planning skills, and a proven ability to manage complex initiatives successfully. Skills: 9+ years' experience managing IT projects through all phases of the PMLC, (initiation to close) and SDLC (reqs, design, build, test, and deploy). 4+ years' experience managing cyber security and/or IT infrastructure projects. 2+ yrs.' experience managing projects in a government setting or a large private organization, preferably fortune 500. Certified as a project manager by PMI or other similar organization. Ability to work under stringent deadlines and handle multiple projects concurrently. Experience managing third party vendors supporting the project Knowledge of NIST and other cyber security standards. Knowledge of Microsoft solutions such Azure VDI, SCCM, OneDrive Excellent business analysis skills. Positive attitude, including ability and willingness to "wear many hats" on an IT project e.g., BA, Tester, Excellent oral and written communications; Clear communicator and presenter.
