Description The role will involve: Lead a team of Global Mobility Consultants including workload management, coaching, and mentoring responsibilities Partner with newsroom desks, departments, and outsourced vendors to provide an organized service Ensure policies are applied fairly Develop a customer focused approach to global mobility by the internal team and external providers Review and manage customer service agreements (CSA) with external providers, assess performance against CSA to ensure desired service levels and VFM Provide a point of contact for case management & policy issues to both assignees and teams Provide the ultimate convenience by evaluating assignee needs in identifying suitable expatriate packages Be a day-to-day troubleshooter and be the escalation point for daily operational issues Communicate with partners and initiate dialogue by offering guidance to Desk Heads, Managers, and Assignees on terms and conditions of assignments. The successful candidate will: Previous significant global mobility experience working within an in-house or consulting environment Experience of handling Assignees of different nationalities across a number of countries (both short and long term) Collaborating proactively with senior management and company partners Develop a good understanding of the International desk as well as the newsroom and business as a whole, ensuring that the global mobility team is well positioned to anticipate their needs and meet them. Strong supervisory, team leading experience Global Mobility case management experience (including complex cases) Global Mobility project experience Excellent numerical and analytical skills Strong relationship management skills, build trust with both managers and employees IT skills, with excellent proficiency using MS Word and Excel (can perform complex functions) A well known, international Media business.A competitive salary and benefits package
