Piper Companies is seeking a Director of Software Engineering for a world leading technology organization in Manhattan, New York. The Director of Software Engineering will be spearheading product development efforts leading a team focused in either UI, Backend Services, Platform or Quality. There are multiple positions open for the Director of Software Engineering.
Responsibilities for the Director of Software Engineering include: • Collaborate with cross-functional roles to communicate and align development efforts with Architecture Roadmap • Partner with Scrum Teams to align development efforts to the Architecture Roadmap • Create, improve and define processes and best architectural practices • Collaborate with product teams to understand business and product goals Requirements for the Director of Software Engineering include: • 6+ years of professional industry experience • Previous experience successfully leading multiple teams delivering software products • Experience working in a similar tech stack - Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Redis, Oracle, Vue.js • Cloud experience - AWS or Azure • Strong Agile experience • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering and/or relevant works experience Compensation of the Director of Software Engineering - $190,000 - $280,000 plus a comprehensive benefits package • No relocation assistance, sponsorship, or C2C arrangements available Keywords: Director of Software Development, Director of Software EngineeringVacancy expired!
