Genesis10 is seeking a Computer Technologist for a direct hire position with a telecommunications service provider located in Melville, NY.

Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, in office deskside support technician with experience working in a sometimes-high pressure short deadline environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to break down complicated IT problems to VIP customers and Upper Management

  • Adaptable, dynamic, and creative with solving issues
  • Dedicated with ability to take ownership and responsibility of projects
  • Technical ability to resolve level 2 and level 3 types of tickets
  • Experienced with continuous updates, planning improvements and upgrades

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide in person VIP Support to C-Level executives in Corporate office
  • Provide over the phone remote Support to 1200 users across the US and Australia
  • On-Call rotation every four weeks
  • Work on a rotation of monitoring the work ticket que and assigning out tickets and answering all incoming Service Desk calls
  • Work on Enterprise projects rolling out new technologies and solutions
  • Intune Software packaging
  • Testing and troubleshooting new Intune Software packages and then rolling into production
  • Mobile device Support of iPhones, Androids, iPads through Intune and Apple Business Manager
  • Provisioning new machines through Intune Auto-Pilot
  • O365 Support of office Products
  • Support of RSA Soft Tokens and Hard Tokens.
  • Maintain hardware inventory of equipment and Printer Ink in the Corporate Office
  • Submit Purchase Requisitions for equipment when inventory is running low
  • Work Daily in Freshservice to update tickets, resolve tickets, and document solutions
  • Monthly cleanup of machines not checking into security software to ensure all machines are secure

Requirements:
  • U.S. citizen (or holder)
  • Bachelor's degree in IT specific fields with focus on networking equivalent or experience in an associated field

Experience:
  • 6-10 years experience in Desktop Support/VIP Support
  • Working on large scale enterprise projects and rollouts
  • O365 Experience
  • RSA
  • Intune or similar MDM software
  • VIP Support
  • Powershell experience but not required
  • Software packaging but not required
