- Design, develop, modify, debug and implement short- and long-term solutions to IT needs through new and existing applications, systems architecture, network systems and applications infrastructure for use throughout the Company.
- Analyze existing programs or formulate logic for new systems, devise logic procedures, prepare flowcharting, perform coding and test/debug programs.
- Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
- Develop system implementation plans.
- Prepare and obtain approval of system and programming documentation.

- Typically 8 to 10 or more years of increasing responsibility in terms of any applicable professional experience.
- Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent a plus. May hold one or more industry certifications.

- 5 years' experience and highly proficient in RPG, RPG-ILE, CL, SQL, AS/400 environments, DDM, DB2 Database, XML, FTP, SFTP and Web Services
- 5 years' experience on supporting business critical production environment
- 5 years' of experience on working with distribution business systems, work experience on warehouse application product a plus
- 5 years' experience on change management process, tools like aldon or turnover a plus
- 3 years' experience in translating Business requirements to understandable IT systems requirements
- 2 years' experience integrating application systems with iSeries
- 2 years' experience on reverse engineering and documenting legacy application
- 2 years' experience with agile methodologies, managing backlogs and sprints
- 2 years' experience on data migration from legacy application
