Our client, an investment company, is seeking an Accounting Analyst
Location: Pikesville, MD Position Type: Full Time Responsibilities :- Make sure it all makes sense, puts together spreadsheets, gets everything aligned, curious, can think "Does this make sense or doesn't it make sense?"
- Excel, pivot tables, think through what things mean, compare this vs that
- Doing the purchase order reconciliation project, managing ad hoc things
- Download reports from POS system, this is what system says, inventory is for each category
- Take that and compare that to reports and make sure it aligns, make sure inventory is paid for
- Figure out if everything is right and what is going on
- Ad-hoc projects
- Accounting dept, Controller, senior accountant, grunt/grinder, and then working as an Analyst
- Graduated in sciences
- Accountant with 1 year at public firm type experience
