Schedule: Overnight Shift (Full-Time)

Master Purveyors is seeking a professional, reliable, and customer-focused Front Desk Representative to support our overnight operations. This position serves as the first point of contact for walk-in and call-in customers, manages order processing, prints invoices, communicates with internal departments, and ensures a smooth flow of overnight activity. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and experienced with QuickBooks or similar order-entry systems.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers picking up orders at the front counter

Answer phones and respond to customer inquiries professionally and efficiently

Accurately write up new customer orders

Use QuickBooks to generate and print invoices and receipts

Review and verify outgoing customer orders for accuracy

Coordinate with butchers, packers, and warehouse staff regarding order status

Monitor inventory levels related to overnight orders

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk workspace

Record customer issues, complaints, or special requests and relay them to management

Perform basic clerical and administrative tasks as needed

Required Skills & Experience

1+ year experience in a front desk, customer service, or administrative role

Experience using QuickBooks or a similar invoice/order-entry system

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Friendly, professional, and calm demeanor—especially in fast-paced situations

Ability to work overnight shifts on a consistent schedule

Comfortable interacting with customers and coordinating with internal departments

Familiarity with the food or meat industry is a plus, but not required

Physical & Environmental Requirements

Ability to sit, stand, and walk as needed throughout the shift

Occasional entry into cold warehouse areas to check products or paperwork

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of phone and walk-in traffic
