Hello. I'm searching for a respite as well as an ABA worker for a 14 year old girl with Autism. The location is in Bayside.
The first position is a Respite position. It would include going out in the community, taking the client to classes or working together in the house engaging in activities such as reading, writing , crafts. Looking for someone who has experience with special needs, who is kind, responsible and patient. Depending on experience pay range 25 to $30 an hour. Looking for someone 1 afternoon during the week and a Sunday around 230pm. The Sunday position includes driving to Art class in west Hempstead. Reimbursement is .67 cents a mile thru the agency. You will be working on goals pertaining to socialization and recreation.
The second position is for an ABA worker to work on goals pertaining to behavior. Was looking for someone for a few afternoons during the week. The pay depends on experience but goes up to $30 an hour.
