Special Education SETSS Teacher (K-8) - Bronx
We are seeking a New York State certified Special Education / Students with Disabilities - SETSS teacher to join our team in the Bronx. This is a contract position with competitive pay, providing in-person, one-on-one, and small group instruction in Math and ELA.
What You'll Do:
Manage and instruct students in grades K-8.
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans.
Track student attendance and write monthly progress reports.
Maintain positive relationships with students and parents.
Ensure the health and safety of all students.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 9:00am –2:35pm (grades K-8)
What We're Looking For:
New York State Special Education / Students with Disabilities Certification (Initial, Permanent, K-12, Transitional B or Literacy).
Can not be employed by the New York City Department of Education or have been within the last 12 months.
Experience working with students in small groups.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Fingerprint clearance.
Compensation:
Salary: $1,500 per week / $375 per day
Job Type: Contract, Part-time
Payroll: Semi-monthly
