Our client, a global hedge fund, is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their DevOps team. You'll be working with the front office data team to monitor their infrastructure and create automated deployment pipelines.
The job responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:- Build and automate deployment pipelines, infrastructure, monitoring tools, and configuration management
- Integrate automated testing approaches into the SDLC
- Help investigate and proof-of-concept technologies (on-demand provisioning and containerization)
- Automation first mindset and always looking for ways to improve and optimize development processes
- Expertise with DevOps and experience with site reliability
- Proficiency in development and deployment lifecycle (version control, deployment strategies, automated testing, CI/CD tooling, etc.)
- Experience with orchestration and containers
- Strong scripting experience (Python is preferred)
- Cloud experience (AWS is preferred)
