Experience Design at Publicis Sapient is the bridge between business strategy and applied technology - we assemble industry-leading thinkers, designers, researchers, and strategists to deliver meaningful, holistic experiences for our clients and their customers. The Group Creative Director, Experience Design is a strong leader to teams of incredibly talented design professionals (associates through directors) who work in strategic partnership with clients to solve their most pressing business challenges. They know the ins and outs of product design methodologies and have a track record of creating intuitive, engaging, scalable experiences that people want to use and deliver unreasonably high-value outcomes for our clients. And they're motivated by the new - whether that's cultivating new work opportunities, building and growing new teams, or developing new propositions that help Publicis Sapient design strengthen its reputation as pioneers in the industry. This role will:- Lead large, complex, multidisciplinary initiatives that champion for the needs of the customer, within one or more of our industry groups;
- Nurture and grow clients relationships to drive meaningful business development with existing clients and help win new client relationships;
- Guide product and systems design for impacting for user's needs and business objectives;
- Design and lead cross-disciplinary idea generation and client co-creation sessions, workshops and design sprints;
- Clarify and define success metrics for client and business impact;
- Sell the quality of both the team's work and the work that Financial Service clients should be doing;
- Ensure client teams are delivering the best work possible across a program's lifecycle;
- Model the relationship for collaboration between Experience and Strategy, Product and Engineering capabilities;
- Set goals and standards for experience design teams, to deliver quality work and foster a healthy growth-minded environment;
- Focus on the people development of team members and direct reports;
- Develop materials (frameworks, templates, etc) that improve the capability of experience design to deliver strategic value;
- Develop thought leadership materials (e.g. white papers, proofs-of-concept) that intersect experience design and industry trends;
- Participate in driving the growth and evolution of the craft of Experience within PS.
- Have a track record of UX leadership driving multiple large Financial Service ($10M+) programs forward from inception to scoping to market launch;
- Launched products or services that demonstrate strategic and creative thinking on behalf of Global 1000 clients and achieved results that moved their justified their investments;
- Demonstrate proficiency with complex system mapping and process mapping;
- Confidently estimate and mange project scopes - e.g. headcount, skills, timing, dependencies - across large multi-faceted programs or multiple accounts;
- Present, engage, and lead working sessions at all levels - from line-level managers to C-Level Executives;
- Have leading knowledge on industry (e.g. telecom, financial services, health) trends and where experience can drive value for our clients;
- Collect, manage, and communicate with quantitative and qualitative data;
- Exhibit strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously;
- Are highly collaborative with strong interpersonal skills and cross-functional leadership;
- Know how to mentor teams of up to 20 experience practitioners;
- Have grown the careers of senior manager and director-level designers;
- Find or impose order in ambiguous environments, and creating momentum around priorities;
- Have a strong, defendable perspective about where the experience craft is moving in a consultancy model;
- Thrive in Agile and Lean UX environments.
