Piper Companies is seeking a Principle Database Engineer for a world wide technology organization located in NY, New York. The Principle Database Engineer will be responsible for the strategic direction and design of the future database environment within the organization. The Principle Database Engineer should possess a strong background within relational and non relational databases.
Responsibilities for the Principle Database Engineer include: • Develop the future strategic direction of the database environment • Optimize and automates tasks and processes • Serve as a SME and an escalation point to resolving difficult problems • Research and recommend new database technologies to improve the environment Requirements for the Principle Database Engineer include: • Over 10 years of database architecture and engineering experience • Experience creating and implementing new database technologies and best practices • Strong experience in relational and non-relational databases • Knowledge of infrastructure components including servers, storage and networking • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Bachelor's Degree and/or relevant work experience Compensation of the Principle Database Engineer: • $160,000 - $225,000 • Full comprehensive benefits package Keywords: Oracle, NoSQL, PostGres, Redis, ChefVacancy expired!
