Our Client, a Growing Financial Services Organziation that is about to go IPO is in need of a strong SIte Reliability Engineer, that can be onsite in New York, NY or Remote 100 Percent of the time.

AWS
Java as the backend application language
Terraform for infrastructure-as-code
Kubernetes

Our Client is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer who will contribute to our continuous automation of toil; write and evangelize rails for smoother observability and CI/CD flows to be used by the application teams; strengthen our DR and BCP processes; help drive key metrics across the organization; embed with application teams to spread the skills and knowledge on the subjects of instrumentation, monitoring, alerting, and auto-healing.

The Role

You're a software engineer with a passion for the -ilities: observability, reliability, scalability. You automate toil when you find it. You identify and resolve bottlenecks. You approach existing processes with a critical eye and suggest improvements. You have managed production incidents . You know the difference between mitigation and resolution. You follow up on band-aid solutions. In your work, you instrument everything and frequently reassess the quality of your data.
