Individual Accountabilities- Partners with solution and data architect(s) to deliver high performing solutions that meet the needs of thebusiness functions
- Analyzes and understands data sources and end-user requirements to develop and implement ETLSolutions
- Collaborates with multi-functional Engineers, Service Delivery Managers and System Partners to contributeto all phases of development, delivery and support.
- Analyze, design, construct, and automate ETL processes. Uses standard concepts, best practices andprocedures to define data mappings, unit test mappings, and data governance as defined by the architect.
- Validates ETL designs for accuracy and performance, identifying opportunities for improvement
- Ability to write complex SQL queries
- Develops and maintains proficiency within one or more technology environments with the ability to learnand apply new and emerging concepts very quickly
- •Builds and maintains a strong working knowledge of the business area(s) supported and the applicationsthat support it
- •Writes and maintains documentation that describes processing, installation and operating procedures
- Supports other developers through problem solving by identifying as well as evolving standards, bestpractices and reusable solutions
- Participates in technical design, contributing insights and ideas
- Contributes to a positive TCO for solutions within assigned domain(s)
- Assist in the remediation of application stability and performance where integrations are concerned
- Participates in the development of roadmaps related to their area(s) of expertise
- Contributes to development plans, identifies key milestones, and raises critical project issues such asresource needs and contingencies
- Is an active participant in team retrospectives and process improvement initiatives
- 5 + years of relevant experience in a systems development and/or technical design position and BSDegree or equivalent
- Broad background in CCM technologies , collaboration and social platforms, strategy, architecture, anddeployments in an enterprise environment a plus.
- Experience in collaborating with teams that are geographically dispersed at different locations and timezones
- Experience executing in the application delivery process utilizing Agile practices, effectively questioning,respectfully debating and challenging to deliver business value
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in working in a highly collaborative environment, proactively innovating solutions that supportthe goals and desired outcomes of Enterprise Technology organization
- Experience using standard ETL tools; experience with DataStage highly desirable
- Experience in T-SQL, PL/SQL, XML, Java, Pearl
- Fluent in relational database concepts and flat file processing concepts
- Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
- Proven ability to acquire and maintain technical skills and knowledge in assigned functional domain(s)
