As part of our team, you will engage with Practitioners and Professionals from various disciplines within both our consulting practices and from our client's organizations. During engagements, exposure to multiple technologies will provide you opportunities to become an expert and to expand your skillset into new areas. Our practitioners lead/support technical teams to architect, build, and deploy cloud solutions across public, private and hybrid cloud environments. Our practitioners are expected to own and deliver their respective outcomes while managing different clients and other stakeholders.

CBO Cloud Engineering Team

The US Cloud Engineering Offering focuses on enabling our client's end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, with opportunities in the areas of Cloud Strategy and Op Model Transformation, Cloud Development & Integration, Cloud Migration, and Cloud Infrastructure & Managed Services. Cloud Engineering supports our clients as they improve agility and resilience and identifies opportunities to reduce IT operations spend through automation by enabling Cloud. We accelerate our clients toward a technology-driven future, leveraging vendor solutions, Deloitte-developed software products, tools, and accelerators.

Qualifications:

Required

3+ years of experience with at least one of the following hyperscale platforms (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure, Oracle, Alibaba)
3+ years of experience with Enterprise Storage, including EMC, HPE, NetApp or other major Storage Vendor

Preferred

B.S. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or another technical field
Experience designing, implementing and supporting object stores, such as OpenStack Swift, Cleversafe, S3
Experience with deployment automation and configuration management frameworks such as Chef or Ansible
Experience with server virtualization and/or container platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, Xen, and Docker
2+ years' experience with Software Defined Storage solutions, such as Ceph, Gluster, vSAN, ScaleIO, EMC and AWS Storage
Experience creating storage automation and monitoring tools using Python/Bash/PowerShell
Deep experience supporting multiple arrays and datacenters utilizing EMC VMAX FAST VP, NetApp FAS, HPE 3PAR and Isilon
Deep experience with multiswitch fabrics utilizing Cisco MDS, HPE Arista, Cisco Directors and Brocade
Experience with EMC VNX gateway/Celerra
Experience with storage SRDF and RecoverPoint
Experience with FCOE
Familiarity with Unisphere for VMAX, SYMCLI, Vipr SRM, and monitoring methodologies
Experience working with Windows, Linux, VMware 6.x and custom application support
Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and on-going operation of geo-dispersed storage infrastructure
Interpersonal and communication experience
Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining Python/Bash/PowerShell scripts
