Compensation

Salary range:

Computer Spec. (SW) 1 TWU: $90,656 - $98,254

Computer Spec. (SW) 2 TWU: $94,445 - $105,803

Computer Spec. (SW) 3 TWU: $101,991 - 115,061

Computer Spec. (SW) 4 TWU: $109,441 - $131,744

Responsibilities

Under general supervision with latitude for independent judgement this position is responsible for the following:
  • Develop and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications.
  • Write complex plugins, workflows and integrations.
  • Manage requirements/scope and risks appropriately.
  • Identify risks, issues; find solutions and plan/manage them.
  • Utilize Azure Platform for integrations and augmenting functionality.
  • Other related responsibilities as required.
Education and Experience

1. A bachelor's degree from an accredited college with a major in Computer Science or a related field and two (2) years of computer software/data communications experience, and at least one year in a project leader capacity or as a major contributor on a complex project; OR

2. A satisfactory equivalent of education and experience, however all candidates must have one year in a project leader capacity or as a major contributor on a complex project.

Level IV placement requires one year additional experience in a project leader capacity.

Desired Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
  • Experience in C#, SQL, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Experience in data migration.
  • Good at client interactions; able to set & manage stakeholder expectation.
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and QA lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of Web Technologies like Angular or React are nice to have.
  • Experience in development using SharePoint, Power BI, PowerApps.
  • Experience working with Agile, DevOps using different tools (Jira, Jenkins, Security Scan, Monitoring, Automation of testing and deployment pipelining).

Appointment may be at a comparable level to current level of selected candidate.

As an employee of MTA Headquarters, you may be required to complete an annual financial disclosure statement with the State of New York, if your position earns more than $101,379 (this figure is subject to change) per year or if the position is designated as a policy maker.
