Tittle: Data AnalystLocation: New York, NY // Sunrise, FL // Phoenix, AZDuration: 6+ months The Data Analyst supports the client's team by owning the data model that underlies our enterprise transformation effort. The analyst is able to understand their company's strategy and develop the right metrics and supporting data model, partners closely with stakeholders to collect data efficiently, and is the key team member to help us measure, track, and report on program goals. Responsibilities Work with various Technology teams and unit CIOs to understand their resourcing move strategy and leverage existing datasets to create an SOR data model that underlies this strategy Develop intuitive online collection templates and clear instructions to gather resourcing data from a wide variety of stakeholders across the enterprise Solicit and gather data from stakeholders, answer questions and remove impediments in data collection Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets. Analyze the data to uncover trends and assess data quality and completeness. Recommend additional data sources when needed. Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports. In collaboration with project/program leadership, define the key insights and metrics which the business needs to address, and develop appropriate business intelligence datasets, analytics, dashboards or methods. Work closely with stakeholders across Technology, Finance, Vendor Management, and others. Be responsible for taking data analysis and insights capability to the next level by working with data infrastructure to ensure the data is accessible, auditing existing visualization dashboards, and working with stakeholders to recommend and create new reporting/insights. Provide clear, timely and accurate communication to business unit leadership/ appropriate audiences on business performance trends and key insights. Qualifications Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst, 5 yrs. experience Self-starter with experience working in a dynamic environment. Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc) Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics Experience in resourcing models across geographies and large corporate with financial management preferred Knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects, Tableau etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks) a plusBe a part of the ConsultNet difference.
