Job Details

Duties:

Build and run multiple environments in AWS using Infrastructure as code methods.Build and own tooling to automate the infrastructure managementImplement best practices with developers to enable proactive monitoring, continuous deployment, automated testing, and quality control.Share an on-call rotation and be an escalation contact for service incidentsManage and administer multiple AWS accounts, from security to cost management.

Required:

Degree in Computer Science3+ years of industrial experience with Amazon Web Services4+ years of experience in web development and operationsStrong experiences with Linux/Unix operating system administration, and configuration management tools such as Puppet, ChefAbility to automate processes in various script languages, including Python, Perl, and ShellTakes a measure twice, cut once approach to changing the infrastructureStrong knowledge of AWS services functionalities, limitations and cost estimation.Strong knowledge of AWS system, networking and security administration, including AWS CLIExperience with or have working knowledge of using Terraform to create and maintain AWS infrastructure.Strong knowledge of SQL databases, and No-SQL databases available in AWS. Ability to do essential database administration for MySQL/Postgresql and MongoDB or AWS equivalents.Working experiences with disaster recovery processesKnowledge of system monitoring and automatic scaling in AWS environmentHands-on experiences in Microservices, Docker, Kafka, KubernetesKnowledge of best practices for a highly available, high-performance SaaS service architectureWorking experiences in CI/CD
