Job Description:

The Central Funding Desk (CFD) technology team has an urgent need for a senior developer with 10+ years of development experience to meet the coming business growth activities for the Central Funding Trading desk. The candidate MUST have strong experience in Python, Quartz, Structured Notes and Derivatives products. The candidate must be able to facilitate communication, collaboration and coordination between the CFD trading desk, the CFD Technology, QSG teams, and other Technology teams for BAU activities and other large projects.

Required Skills
  • Strong full-stack Python developer with 10+ years of development experience is required
  • Must have extensive Python development experience in a development facility like SecDB, Athena or Quartz
  • Must have experience to be responsible for the application performance in production (app health, resiliency, performance, security, enterprise data management standards and audit exams)
  • Must have a strong understanding of Financial products such as Structured Notes and Derivatives and its risk management
  • Must have exposure to Front, Middle Office and Quantitative business functions
  • Must be able to clearly articulate and translate technology concepts, processes and deliverables into business-facing documents suitable for senior management consumption
  • The ability to effectively communicate within a multi-disciplined team, across multiple locations and time zones, and to interact with demanding business users.
  • The candidate should be a self-starter who enjoys programming, can work as part of a global team and who has successfully delivered significant enterprise-scale projects to end-users previously
  • Work in partnership with the team to ensure that optimum value is obtained through technology and through an advanced understanding of the business
  • Collaborate with Product, the business, testers, infrastructure and others to deliver solutions
  • Create and maintain documentation such as Agile stories, design docs, mapping specifications, flow diagrams, technical recovery plans
Desirable Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other information systems related fields
  • 10+ years of relevant financial industry experience
  • 10+ years of experience in software design, development & maintenance
  • Strong written and verbal communication & presentation skills
