Genesis10 is currently seeking an Sr .Net / C# WPF Programmer with our client in the financial industry in their New York, NY location. This is a 12 month + contract position. Description:
  • The candidate will be joining the Global Stock Loan team in the Prime Services Technology team
  • The software developer will be an integral part of an onshore agile/scrum/stand-up team requiring a presence in the office with other team members
  • Required also to be working standard hours to support business/trading (3rd line support)
  • The developer required for Pre-Trade, Core Trading, and Inventory Management book of work
  • The multi-year programs incorporate building Next Generation systems, Regulatory, Firm Mandatory, and Market Mandatory driven initiatives

Requirements:
  • C#
  • .Net Core
  • Strong development skills (.NET/C#, OOP, Design Patterns)
  • Experience with WCF, WPF
  • TIBCO or messaging equivalent
  • N-tier architecture
  • Strong database knowledge (Sybase/SQL/Oracle)
  • Experience with database performance and tuning is a plus
  • Understanding of Agile Concepts
  • Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD/BDD)
  • Knowledge of Stock loan / Securities Finance is a plus
  • Knowledge of the trade lifecycle (Trading, Middle Office, Settlements) is a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer science or equivalent
  • Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no Corp-to-Corp)
