Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for Account Transfer Support Manager for a Full-Time assignment with one of our premier Insurance clients. This position is remote but preference is to be in the vicinity of NYC metro or NJ/PA areas.
Responsibilities- Handle all aspects of client service to a select set of Top-Tier producers, with a focus on supporting incoming account transfers.
- Provide a high level of attention to the incoming account transfer process with the goal of reducing turnaround time and improving the client experience.
- Build relationships with their advisors through proactive calls outs, as well as virtual visits
- Coordinating training requests, identifying client or advisor impacts when processes and procedures change
- Handling the incoming calls and emails
- Identify trends and process improvements
- Teach others (i.e., field, clients, sponsors, vendors) about our business model, parent company, policies and procedures, and products and services
- Pull together different groups in the Home Office (Operations, Compliance, Finance, Technology) and the parent company to achieve these goals is important
- Hndle complex business scenarios and devise solutions, from suggestion to implementation.
- Reach out to advisors on troublesome transfer requests, and work to remediate
- Act as primary point of contact for all BD and RIA related activities
- Specific knowledge and experience of the account transfer process and a deep understanding of the industry's account transfer protocols.
- Service/Support experience speaking with advisors, support staff, and contra firms
- Superior understanding of the Broker-Dealer (BD) - brokerage accounts, mutual funds, variable annuities, etc.
- Understanding of Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) operations and regulatory environment
- Experience with Pershing NetX360, as well as experience with direct service providers, such as Albridge, Envestnet, Orion, SEI.
- Extensive customer service, operations or sales experience
- Superior communication skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and work independently
- Confident, pleasant individual, able to think on their feet, well-spoken and articulate
- Excellent listener, able to draw out needs and desires that the field has, through probing questions, helping to design custom solutions to satisfy those business requirements
- College degree or equivalent work experience
- Securities license preferred (Series 65).
