- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Management Information Systems or Business preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience designing, developing, implementing technologies in one or more IT domains.
- Experience in evaluating technology and establishing standard implementations.
- Must have a solid understanding of architectural concepts and practices leading to solutions that are reliable, maintainable, reusable, scalable and extensible.
- Must be comfortable and skilled at selling new processes and techniques.

- Drives the development of architectures around Advance Distribution Management System (ADMS) with a concentration on Distribution Energy Resource Management System (DERMS)
- Develops roadmaps for implementation of ADMS/DERMS architecture.
- Establishes and/or collaborates on technical standards, development, integration, and maintenance.
- Optimizes the company's IT portfolio and provide strong technical guidance on IT's short and long term DERMS strategy.
- Monitors the business industry as well as best practices; develops strategies for implementation on ADMS/DERMS technologies.
- Lead vendor selections, business case development, deployment management, training and change management, strategic analysis and carry projects through from strategy to turn up, testing, training, and turnover.
- Identifies, evaluates, and develops roadmaps for the integration of business processes, applications, technologies, and infrastructure, including vendor & internally developed applications.
- Collaborates with peers; researches, establishes, and updates technical standards; manages application development lifecycle and methodologies, provides oversight on processes and other governance responsibilities.
- Provides guidance and/or conducts architectural, configuration, solution & quality reviews.
- Experience in SDLC, functional design, gathering and documenting requirements for complex business systems and products.
- Experience in conducting business requirement sessions, JAD sessions and business process sessions.
- Ability to grasp technical concepts and translate business requirements into functional specifications.
- Experience creating integration design documents (functional and technical)
