Advisor, Data Scientist

Job DescriptionAetna Resources LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in New York, NY: Advisor, Data Scientist to formulate and apply mathematical and computational modeling methods towards data extraction and manipulation. Duties include: apply advanced quantitative, data modeling, and machine learning methods to lead the development, validation, and delivery of algorithms, statistical models, and reporting tools; leverage data science, large scale experimentation, and optimization of digital properties and applications to develop predictive models that maximize behavioral change; identify and solve data modeling and machine learning problems, including validating information, applying quantitative judgment, and applying complex algorithms and artificial learning; perform validation and testing of models to ensure adequacy and reformulate models as necessary; and act as an analytics product owner and translate business needs into analytics projects and recommendations.Required QualificationsMasters degree (or foreign equivalent) in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, OperationsResearch, or a related field and completion of a university-level course, research project,internship, thesis, or 6 months of experience in each of the following: Machine learning datascience, pattern recognition, statistical signals, algorithms, and predictive modeling; Usinganalytics tools to analyze large data sets from multiple data sources; and Python, PysPark,SQL/Hive, and Amazon Redshift.Preferred QualificationsSee required qualifications.EducationSee required qualifications.Business OverviewAt CVS Health, we are joined in a common purpose: helping people on their path to better health.
