Work you'll do

The Senior Manager is a key hands-on leader of a team providing data and analytics solutions to our clients, and will be an "athlete" who can contribute across the data and analytics spectrum, including:
  • Identifying data requirements for regulatory programs and system implementations
  • Designing and implementing data strategies, including data governance, data quality, master data management and data architecture
  • Designing data controls and data validation processes
  • Performing data analysis and data mining using SQL and other tools
  • Developing visualizations in Tableau and other tools
  • Performing complex analytics and predictive modeling, including the use of Machine Learning
  • Drive execution of advanced analytics, including robotic process automation (RPA) and natural language processing (NLP)
  • Understanding how these solutions can be deployed within the Cloud

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree from accredited university
  • 6+ years of experience in risk analytics, data analytics, or risk management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SQL, MDX, Base SAS and/or Hadoop
  • Knowledge of tools in the following analytics areas:
  • Data Mining (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server)
  • Project and people management
  • Machine Learning/Cognitive (e.g., Python, Mahout, IBM Watson, CognitiveScale)
  • Predictive Analytics/Data Mining (e.g., IBM SPSS, SAS Enterprise Miner, RPL, Python, Matl)
  • Data Visualization (e.g.,Tableau, TIBCO-SpotFire, CliqView, SPSS)
  • Big Data Tools (e.g., Hadoop, Hive, Pig, Impala, Mahout)
  • Data management (e.g., Informatica, Collibra)
  • Experience developing statistical modeling tools and techniques
  • Knowledge of data warehouse, database design, and data mining
  • Understanding of performance management and predictive performance modeling concepts
  • Knowledge of enterprise risk management, risk reporting, dash boarding and business planning
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United Stated without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Ability to travel up to 50-75% (While up to 50-75% travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)

Preferred:
  • Experience leading offshore/onshore teams is a plus
  • Understanding of the finance and business cycles, management reporting and optimization
