RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce is working with a well-known institutional investment management firm in NYC that is in search of an Analytics Manager - Fund Accounting. In this role, the Analytics Manager will be leading Data Analytics efforts for the Fund Accounting department.
Responsibilities: Work as a member of the Fund Accounting team as data modeling, visualization, data analytics specialist Automating and scaling existing models to meet the firm's reporting needs Developing user-friendly tools to assist in streamlining the Fund Accounting processes Working with technology to develop and implement new reporting tools and enhance reporting transparency Coordinate with fund administrator for accounting and reporting mattersREQUIREMENTS: 10+years of experience in fund accounting, fund administration, fund audit, data modeling, data analytics, data visualization, accounting technology team, or preferably a combination of the above Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required Advanced knowledge of VBA is required Experience working with large datasets is required Experience working with data visualization software is required (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) Working knowledge of any coding language is required Expertise in all Microsoft Office applications Fund administration and accounting experience preferred Working knowledge of data analytics software is preferred Experience working with software developers or technology groups is preferredSoft Skills: Strong analytical and organizational skills Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills Ability to multi-task time across time sensitive deliverables and project work High degree of accuracy and attention to detailThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
