Our client, one of the largest banks in the US with wealth management, investment banking, and international business, is seeking an Application Programmer V - Java Plapp developer
Location: Charlotte, NC Position Type: IT-Contract Job Summary: Work in an agile and fast faced environment interfacing senior technology members and business analysts. Understand business requirements, processes and specification required to support implementation in Risk & PnL systems. Job Responsibilities:- Communicate and coordinate effectively with BA and other technology teams.
- Design and implement business/technology requirements using Java and Python technologies.
- Manage end to end development lifecycle from analysis, coding, testing and maintenance for complex systems.
- Troubleshoot and identify solutions for complex support issues in multi-threaded/processing applications.
- A strong knowledge of object oriented programming, data structures, design patterns, hands on experience in multi-threaded large scale distributed server applications using Core Java 1.8 or above, Spring, Hibernate, Tibco EMS or a JMS based middleware.
- Strong PL/SQL programming skill with a RDBMS (preferably Oracle) and Shell scripting knowledge using Unix/linux.
- Experience with git or any SCM tool, Maven, Artifactory, JUnit, Mockito and IDEs like IntelliJ.
- Experience in capital markets, Risk & PnL systems, RESTful API and DevOps tools is a plus.
- Programming ability in Python, .NET/C#, spec flow is nice to have.
