This is not a pure developer role, as the candidate will not be engaged in new development projects all the time. The primary responsibility will be to support several systems (mostly vendor apps, a few built in house), interfaces and integration with other systems, perform periodic enhancements, troubleshooting, upgrades, patching etc.We feel an ideal candidate would be an application support professional or software integration specialist, rather than a computer science engineer, but will need to have background in software development. Technologies are described, below. Data analysis using Excel and SQL will be helpful. Exposure to Workday HCM or Financials will be a plus but we are not looking for a Workday expert.This is a user-facing role. Candidate will interact frequently with users to gather requirements, investigate issues, coordinate UAT for new features and functionality, etc.The suite of systems will involve CRM system, document mgmt. system and various other line of business systems used by our Finance, Legal, Compliance and IR groups.Aside from the usual platitudes about strong communications and executive function, the most important soft skill is the aptitude and desire to learn and master new things (e.g. applications, tools, etc.)
Technologies & Skills:- MS Excel data analysis
- MS SQL Server & T-SQL
- Python or any programming language
- PowerShell scripting
- Create Corporate Systems Toolkit – identify and implement scripts/tools to perform routine operational tasks, e.g. user permission updates, usage reporting
