AWS Cloud Developer in financial services to join our New York, NY team. Description: Understand the current application infrastructure and suggest changes to it- Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance- Experience in creating data warehouses in AWS utilizing the following tools: EC2, S3, EMR, Athena, Sagemaker , and Snowflake- Work with members of the team to ensure data is ingested, curated/standardized, stored, and handled accurately to support business needs- Advanced development experience in cloud technologies such as AWS Aurora/RDS/S3, Dockers, Kubernetes, Lamdas, JSON, Python- AWS API's for integration, experience with the core AWS services- Good background in Linux/Unix administration- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Having used ECS/EKS- Proficiency in at least one language: Python, .Net- Strong notions of security best practices (e.g., using IAM Roles, KMS, etc.)- Experience with monitoring solutions such as CloudWatch- Knowledge of writing infrastructure as code (IaC) using CloudFormation or Terraform- Experience with the serverless approaches using AWS Lambda is mandatory for example, Serverless Application Model (AWS SAM)Vacancy expired!
