This Bookkeeper & Property Administrator opportunity will be located in the Uptown, New York area and will be a full-time position. Managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, month-end closing, and reconciliation are important tasks in the Bookkeeper role. As well, the Bookkeeper will stay on top of a general ledger reconciliation, perform data entry, light journal entries, cash applications, and full cycle A/P coding. This candidate will also be involved with lease renewals, property administration, communication with vendors for repairs, and more. General ledger
Supervise monthly accounting close
Uphold monthly accounting close
Assemble monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
Property Administration Assistance: speaking with vendors, super, maintenance crew, assisting with lease renewals, and speaking with DHCR, etc.
Accounts Receivable
File cash flow projections, as needed
Adept in credit card management and reconciliation
Classify sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments
Enter Accounts Payable
Organize subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement

Demonstrated knowledge of Lease Renewals
Adeptness in Lease Renewals
Billing experience preferred
Experience with property accounting
Deep understanding of account reconciliation
Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Receivable (AR) experience
Noteworthy accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
Top notch analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must
Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills
Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
Strong analytical capabilities and discernment
2+ years of related experience
