The scope of this work extends from the research into the mathematical derivation of the model, through the coding, testing, and documentation of the model for formal validation and approval, and finally to delivering the model both to the desktop and to Technology for incorporation into the Firm’s books and records systems. MQA’s responsibilities span the G10 Rates, Local Markets, Credit, Commodities, FX, Equity, Equity Hybrids and Mortgage/Securitized markets businesses.MQA Budapest is an integral part of the global structure of the department and plays a key role in the development of the core tools, processes and analytics.The role will be to join the MQA team in Budapest and work alongside the global teams to help meet the current and projected demands from the business.As a Business Analyst - Project Manager you will:Show clear vision and scope documentation, use cases, workflows, wire-frames, design and product requirements, and other materials to support UX design and development.
Generate detailed business requirements and system functional specifications for development teams
Provide input during development and implementation phases for complex, high-impact projects
Evaluate new IT developments and evolving business requirements and recommend appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements
Run scrum meetings, oversee day-to-day technical development and execution, propose and track performance metrics to deliver product
Manage and communicate prioritization of features to senior stakeholders.
Create and manage a robust roadmap from MVP to end-product.
Interface with Traders, Quants, technology and Risk Managers to determine priorities and own the overall delivery of technical enhancements from start to finish
On-going monitoring and reporting of key controls and tasks
Ideal background:5 years of experience in a comparable Business Analyst / Project Manager role preferably in a Finance or technology company
Significant exposure to the software development process
Experience of programming using Python desirable
Automation of business processes
Ability to implement industry best practice
Excellent verbal and written English
Ability to take ownership and proactively follow up on issues
