Develop customized data visualization solutions using standard visualization products (Qlik, PowerBI) as well as open-source tools (D3JS, ReactJS, NodeJS.
Deploy Node.JS based web applications in cloud-computing platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS), and configure the architecture (Ports, FTP Server) to ensure the app is running properly. Use artificial intelligence/machine learning tools such as Python to parse documents, extract useful attributes and deploy machine learning algorithms in text classification, and analyze unstructured data. Develop natural language processing algorithm that can summarize stories and other useful information. Design and develop a front-end platform for the UN Data Exchange platform that allows users to browse and search for United Nations internal datasets effectively. Develop scanning interfaces and API endpoints for the data catalog. Build data entry applications using tools like Microsoft PowerApps, and SharePoint listsCompetencies:Bachelor's or higher degree, in Business Analytics or a directly related field or its equivalent in education and/or work experienceExperience: At least 2 years of experience in information technology with a focus on business intelligence and data analytics, data modelling, deployment, configuration and use of visualization. At least 1 year of experience working with well-established data visualization tools such as Qlik Sense, Tableau or Microsoft Power BI. At least 1 year of experience with front end JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue. At least 1 year of experience in developing User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) designs using web technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) and open-source data visualization libraries for interactive chart building. Possesses knowledge of statistics, predictive modelling, data science, machine learning, text analytics. Knowledge and experience with Geo analytics and visual representation of Geographical data.
