JOB TITLE: Business Intelligence Developer

SALARY RANGE: $160,000 - $180,000

Hybrid: Queens, NY (3 days in office)

Full Time/Perm

POSITION OVERVIEW Based in Long Island City, the Business Intelligence Developer partners with and supports internal stakeholders to ensure the integrity of our data and reports in support of providing strategic insights to solve business problems and realize new opportunities. Successful candidates will not only be highly skilled in the relevant technologies and programming languages, but will be diplomatic and highly collaborative strategic thinkers with a business mindset and passion for teamwork.

OUTCOMES Ensures that the Company BI environment is consistently updated and that new features are evaluated and deployed through the Company. Ensures that new reporting is developed and deployed consistent with industry best practices and performance optimized. Ensures the accuracy of all reporting prior to user deployment while successfully maintaining and developing data solutions in multiple technical environments. Maintains an ongoing awareness of the BI and reporting needs in the Company and ensures that RUSA IT is able to accommodate these needs. Ensures the accuracy, consistency and integrity of our organizational data. Ensures that the new data sources are ingested properly into our environment and key metrics are aligned with Geneva. Ensures the Data warehouse updates have run properly and proactively resolves issues updates. Ensures the successful design, maintenance, storage access and security of data.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS Required Qualifications: Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Datawarehouse Microsoft BI (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) Data Visualization Data Migration SQL Server Programming Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio for documents development and data preparation Communication skills: oral and written communication/soft skills and the ability to clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholders. Must be a team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources. Strong data validation skills Preferred Qualifications: Power BI Development, quality assurance and integration methodologies Data management Data mining skills Business acumen Strategic thinking Issue resolution and investigation Multi-tasking in fast paced environment. Project management principles.

MINIMUM HIRING REQUIREMENTSBA in Computer Science, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or Finance

Nice to Have but Not Required: 3+ years working on large scale enterprise applications with specific focus on Dynamics D365 F&O experience and strong technical domain knowledge in one or more specific areas of F&O including Financial Modules, Projects Module, Trade and Logistics.
