- Lead a team of developers and contribute individually to design, develop and maintain solutions using platforms and tools like AWS, MicroStrategy, Tableau, Spark, Python technologies, etc.
- Partner with Product Managers in requirements gathering and facilitate review sessions with technical and functional leads. Perform effort estimations, create technical roadmaps and ensure project commitments are delivered.
- Draw from strong technical expertise in Business Intelligence, Database technologies on Cloud platforms to conduct project code reviews/checkpoints to ensure the quality of deliverables
- Provide structure and leadership to manage team priorities, streamline work efforts and communicate status to leadership
- Ensure steady-state operational support, including the tracking of system KPIs, manage system uptime/defects, and overall stability
- Coordinate production releases with project team, platform teams and product managers
- Exercise solid project leadership skills combined with strong business acumen and in-depth analytical skills
- Organize and socialize metadata resources, such as data lineage documents, data mappings, data dictionaries, training documents, knowledge base/wiki, etc.
- Coordinate with partner technology teams to manage work load priorities, security requirements for upcoming releases, support issues, licenses, feature requests, upgrades, etc.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in data warehousing/business intelligence projects with at least 3 years of full life cycle experience in implementation and support of DW Solutions
- 3+ years of demonstrated project leadership skills, with direct responsibility for managing technical project teams
- Experience in Data Modeling, Data architecture, Data Quality, Metadata, ETL and Cloud Data Warehouse technologies
- Experience in any combination of the following: SQL, AWS, Linux, Informatica, Talend, Tableau, Python, Scala, Spark, HTML, Java/JSP, Angular, Bootstrap, APIs
- Demonstrated experience with developing complex Data Engineering and Business Intelligence reporting solutions
- Strong oral and written communication and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate new concepts and drive change in processes and behaviors?
- Track record of delivering high-quality results on schedule and within budget
- Ability to lead both small and enterprise-wide engagements, facilitate meetings, mentoring junior team members and effectively managing client escalations
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high energy, dynamic, team-oriented environment
- Ability to multi-task and perform effectively under pressure
- Industry experience in Media, Entertainment and Advertising
- Experience with various digital platforms such as Omniture (Site Catalyst), Rentrak, comScore, Operative One, Google Ad Manager, Freewheel, Ad-Juster, Nielsen, Facebook, Twitter, etc
- Strong analytical focus, results-oriented and execution driven, with the ability to align technology developments with the generation of competitive business advantage
- Self-motivated, well organized and has strong innovation and facilitation skills, especially in driving consensus among senior technical resources.?
- Ability and desire to work within a cross-functional team environment with people from multiple business units, vendors, countries and cultures.?
