A NYS agency located in New York, NY is looking for a Change Management Business Analyst/ Manager for a 9 month contract.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS POSITION MAY ALLOW FOR SOME WORK TO BE PERFORMED REMOTELY. HOWEVER, CONSULTANT WILL BE REQUIRED TO WORK ON-SITE/IN-OFFICE WEEKLY ONCE COVID RESTRICTIONS ARE LIFTED."

Requirements and skills

  • Minimum 7 years of process / change management experience
  • Knowledge of UKG Workforce Central system
  • Expert in change management methodologies
  • 6+ years' experience with Change Management

Responsibilities

  • Apply change management methodologies, tools and techniques to assist in the implementation of new processes and systems including stakeholder engagement and communication, training, organizational effectiveness and business readiness and adoption taking into consideration labor and or civil service requirements
  • Deliver communications to raise the sense of awareness, present the case for change and elicit feedback for audiences at all levels of the organization
  • Propose strategies to communicate gaps between the current and end states to key stakeholders, benefits of the proposed end state, and methods for reducing resistance to the proposed end state
  • Develop training required to implement change (e.g. train-the-trainer, coaching support, etc.)
  • Conduct readiness, risk and other assessments to evaluate the readiness of the organization to move forward with new processes and system
  • Create roadmaps to implement change that include but are not limited to: project milestones, time frames and resource requirements to implement change
  • Define business process and system changes as they impact end user roles
  • Identify internal and external barriers to success
  • Develop strategies for workforce transition and adjustments in responsibilities
  • Identify the knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) necessary for new functional roles, assess related gaps in existing KSAs and develop a workforce transition plan
  • The resource will be responsible for producing the following deliverables: Stakeholder Analysis Change Roadmap, Change Communication Plan, End user & management training with schedule and deployment plan, Workforce transition plan and Train the Trainer sessions
  • The primary purpose of this resource is to construct and lead a systematic approach for identifying and addressing the key stakeholder impacts for the future state timekeeping business processes and technical solution implementation.
  • The Change Management resource is also responsible for ensuring desired stakeholder outcomes are achieved, risk is managed, and time minimized.
