Currently sourcing for 3 architect openings at the world's leading financial advisory and asset management firm. There are 2 mid-level architect and 1 senior architect roles that are available.

role will initially be remote. they're looking to implement a hybrid model, so must be commutable to NY. Senior 2-3 days a month, Mid-Level 2-3 Days a week

Senior - $175,000-$200,000+Mid Level - $155,000-$170,000

They've been migrating to cloud for 2 years, and have a base level in place. Now want to embark on a period of serious transformation with a number of initiatives including: Building up their base cloud functionality Enhancing their data lake/data warehouse capabilities Enhancing their containerization capabilities Multiple migrations to the cloud still to happen Cloud networking initiatives.

Senior Architect - Prefers a candidate to come from an App Dev background - won't be a hands on developer, strictly an architect position, but you'd be helping developer with cloud related tasks. Looking for someone with a solid understanding of infrastructure as well if possible, but development and automation experience is more important. Terraform would be a plus. AWS CDK or Cloud Formation experience. Deep cloud understanding - AWS is important, if they can understand multiple clouds that would be even better.

Mid Level Architects - Less senior, more likely to come from an infrastructure background. Someone with a background in systems engineering, who has moved into an Architect position. Python experience and AWS CDK experience would be good. Again, deep understanding of the cloud.
