InfoPeople Corporation is currently seeking a
Cloud Engineer with our direct client in their Brooklyn, NY location.Title: Cloud Engineer Employment Type: 12 Months Contract Location: Brooklyn, NY – ONSITE FROM DAY 1Duties:- Experience with container systems (Docker/Openshift) and container orchestration (e.g. Openshift, EKS, Kubernetes, Swarm), Kubernetes experience
- Strong scripting experience in one of the following; Bash, Perl, Python (preferred), PowerShell, Ruby, Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices
- Experience with automation tools, including Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible
- Defining and setting the infrastructure for development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps
- Strong understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, SSL/TLS, Layer 3 and Layer 7 load balancing)
- Strong experience with AWS, AZURE, and Google Cloud Platform
- Planning the team structure, activities, and involvement in project management activities
- Linux server administration experience or a deep understanding of Linux/Unix
- Experience with Version Control Systems CVS, SVN, GIT
- Implemented cloud and cloud like services IAAS, PAAS , and SaaS which include OpenStack , Docker and OpenShift
- Kubernetes to orchestrate the deployment, scaling and management of Docker/Openshift Containers
- Experience with system integration using a variety of protocols, including JSON, REST, and XML
- Monitoring stacks, such as Prometheus, Alert Manager, Grafana, ELK
- OS Platforms: RedHat 5/6,7,8 Solaris 10,11 AIX 6,7
- Configuration Management tools/Automation: Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Kickstart, Terraform
- SCM/Version Control Tools: GIT, TFS, Gitlab, CVS
- Monitoring tools: Zenoss, AppD, Splunk, Service Now
- Container Technology & Management: Kubernetes, Docker, Openshift,EKS,AKS
- Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform
- Languages: Power Shell, Bash, Perl, NodeJS, Ruby and Python scripting
