Citibank, N.A. seeks a Corporate Banking (Sr.) Associate for its New York, New York location.Duties: Collaborate to plan investment strategies and solutions for clients. Provide relationship management support in cross-selling and implementing the full spectrum of Citi’s products and services by identifying customer needs to generate revenue in areas including cash management, supply chain finance, trading initiatives, vendor finance, foreign exchange, capital markets, liability management, share repurchase, commercial paper, asset-based/transitional finance, leveraged restructuring, and interest rate/equity derivatives. Evaluate strategic opportunities by developing pitch and board materials on corporate finance priorities, capital allocation opportunities, financing strategies, optimal capital structure considerations, strategic advisory, acquisitions financing, credit rating impact, and debt capacity. Review and provide constructive feedback on debt financing related transaction materials, financial models, research, evaluations, and due diligence prepared by Corporate Banking Analysts. Liaise with multinational industrial conglomerates to create external deal materials including lender, board, roadshow, and rating agency presentations. Represent banking coverage team in client meetings, serve as day-to-day point person on client relationships, travel to client sites, and help maintain global connectivity and coverage across product and regional teams. Negotiate legal agreements and documents pertaining to deal structures, terms, and conditions. Prepare written recommendations, produce strategic and financial analyses, create statistical exhibits, conduct economic and financial research, provide evaluations of a company’s financial performance through financial models, and stay abreast of the financial markets, competitive landscape, and industry trends to inform clients of any potential opportunities. Provide direction to Corporate Banking Senior Analysts.Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or related field and four (4) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Financial/Banking Analyst, Risk Analyst, Credit Analyst, or related position involving financial market analysis and modeling for a global financial services institution. 4 years of experience must include: Financial, credit, and risk analysis; Client relationship management and cross-selling financial products; Working with banking products and services, including cash management, supply chain finance, trading initiatives, vendor finance, foreign exchange, capital markets, liability management, share repurchase, commercial paper, asset-based/transitional finance, leveraged restructuring, and interest rate and equity derivatives; Negotiating legal documentation and legal provisions; Financial modeling and creating statistical and financial exhibits using Excel, Bloomberg, FactSet, Capital IQ, and SNL; Corporate finance, including capital structure, capital allocation, strategic advisory, and credit rating impact; Program management; Acquisition financing; and Verbal and oral presentations to stakeholders and clients.
