Cross Border Data Specialist

Grow your career as a Cross Border Data Specialist with an innovative global bank. Long-term contract with excellent growth potential. Will be working remotely. Will focus on the coordination of cross Wholesale Credit Risk (WCR) remediation efforts which will include leading/assisting in PMO resource management for other strategic initiatives and partnering with the Issues Management Group as required.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as Point of Contact for the business on Data Privacy and Cross Border Data Access.
  • Build knowledge awareness for business partners on privacy policies, procedures process and controls.
  • Developprocedural implementation and change management process with Risk Management team to ensure proper governance and controls exist.
  • Establishquarterly governance process to ensure compliance with data privacy practices.
  • Drive completion of Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA, DPIA) for new initiatives, and follow-up with initiative owners to ensure completion of identified actions.
  • Provide guidance (identify themes) on data privacy matters and act as a subject matter expert to initiative owners and business units on Data Privacy and Cross Border Data Clearance (CBDC) process.
  • Create inventory of owned data applications - understand the type and source of data collected, where it is stored and used, how accurate and how complete it is.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's/University degree is required. Prefer a Master's degree.
  • 7+ years of experience in transformation/change management roles.
  • Familiarity with WCR regulations/policies/standards.
  • Experience in managing individuals or teams, both directly and matrix.
  • Excellent Microsoft Suite skills (i.e., PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
