A reputable and stable financial firm in New York City is looking for an IT Risk Manager to work with business units to ensure information security risk is identified and remediated. The role can be based in New York City, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, or Dallax, TX and will require 2/days per week onsite. Responsibilities:
- Work as 1st point of contact for information security risk related matters
- Improve the overall information security risk monitoring program
- Perform risk assessments regularly
- Lead cyber risk for new projects for the firm
- 5+ years experience in information risk and/or security engineering/architecture related roles
- Understanding and experience working with information security frameworks (ISO27001, NIST CSF, etc.)
- Hands on experience conducting risk assessments
- Strong ability to communicate with senior stakeholders
