We will resume recruiting for this role in mid-January 2023 Territory: KY, MD, OH, PA, VA, WV What you'll doDiscovery & Medical AKTA Sales Specialists provide support to Account Managers with expert product knowledge, training, and support, whilst working to generate sales from new and existing customers for the Lab AKTA portfolio. This role should be able to evaluate a customer's process to identify solutions and provide the necessary tools, information, and support to obtain additional sales and identify new opportunities.Accountabilities: Financial Performance - Accountable to achieve operating plan target for assigned territory Accountable for timely and accurate forecasting of pipeline & sales using SFDC Relationships - Build strong relationships & formulate account strategies to continuously strengthen relationship with decision makers Technical sales role focused on selling to chromatography applications with design-in and scale up of the AKTA brand and chromatography resin/column solutions in mind. Create quarterly business plans for territory/assigned accounts including, but not limited to opportunity generation, development, and closure as well as competitive strategies and targets Drive and initiate development of new business opportunities working with Account Manager, Field Application Scientist, and other Sales Specialists to obtain maximum synergy across the business. Continuously update understanding of the customers' changing operational issues and challenges. Execute successful product demonstrations, customer trainings, seminars, workshops, and promotional activities with support from Field Marketing and Field Application Scientist teams Collaborate cross-functionally across modalities (especially the Identification and Purification Sales Specialists) and account teamsWho you areCritical competencies for success based on Danaher’s Core Value Behaviors: Customer Focus: Delivers customer-centric solutions to meet current and anticipated needs.
