- Minimum Bachelor's degree in IT related field
- Minimum 5-7 years of IT experience within an IT Department.
- Minimum 5-7 Years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft Windows 10, Server 2016-2022 and Active Directory.
- Proficient installing, configuring, imaging, deploying and maintaining Windows 10.
- Experience implementing and maintaining Microsoft services such as SCCM, MDT, WSUS, WVD & GPO's
- Proficient with troubleshooting communication issues involving Networking and Security technology such as Wireless Devices/VPN/Firewalls/Proxies/DNS/AV & Encryption.
- Excellent verbal & communication skills
- Must have exceptional documentation and writing skills.
- Microsoft Office 365 Suite including Teams and Visio knowledge is required.
- Cyber security awareness and attention to permissions, risks and mitigation processes
- A solid foundation in Information Technology, including the principles, practices and functions of an Enterprise IT Department.
- Ability to make decisions and provide solutions by inquiring, listening and evaluating requirements.
- Any experience with Police, Physical Security or Public Safety is a major plus.
- 2-4 years' experience: Information Security, Networking
- 4-6 years' experience: Win Server 2016/2019/2012/2008/2003, Windows 10, Microsoft Active Directory
- Seeking a Desktop/LAN/Network Administrator with hands on Microsoft experience to assist the department with some very interesting and challenging Public Safety & Security projects.
- The candidate must?reside in the agency Region, pass an extensive agency Police Department background investigation and have a clean driver's license.
- Onsite work and occasional travel throughout the?agency?region are required.?
- This position will also provide IT field support to numerous locations throughout the agency region.
- The interview will involve technical questions which the candidate must successfully complete.
