job summary:
About the Role The DevOps Team plays a critical role in keeping the production and development environments running smoothly and securely. This person will be wearing multiple hats in a highly visible role interacting with all aspects of the business. Responsibilities- Handle periodic operational tasks such as onboarding external clients and troubleshooting SFTP connectivity.
- Improve operational efficiency by automating manual tasks.
- Help build and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) with an infrastructure-as-code mentality.
- Enhance metrics-gathering and monitoring of the environment.
- 2+ years of DevOps, TechOps or SRE experience with Cloud (preferably AWS) experience
- Confident working in a Linux terminal environment and scripting with bash
- Experience with Docker is a plus
- Experience or exposure to Ruby or Python is a plus
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- A desire to share, teach, and learn as part of a collaborative team
- Ability to design and implement complex, but easily managed infrastructure and automate it from the ground up
