A Director of Data Science is required by a growing AI solutions company that focuses on developing Machine Learning products for global supply chain management. The role is based in New York City (Can also be remote) and the company leverages real world data to shift the predictive modeling sector and gain insights into human behavior.

The ideal candidate will have at least 8+ years industry experience as a Data Scientist, both contributing as a hands on expert as well as leading small to mid sized teams. The products the Director will be building will require experience in either NLP (Entity Resolution) or Knowledge Graphs.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

A PhD or Master's in related field (physics, computer science, etc.)
7 or more years' experience in Data Science/ Machine Learning
Experience with NLP, Knowledge Graphs and/ or Deep learning highly desirable
Strong work ethic
Excellent communication skills
Experience deploying and productionizing models highly desirable
Passion for data and understanding human behavior

Responsibilities will include: Building deep learning models to identify nuances in human data, optimizing continuous learning models, and automating complex cognitive analysis. Working closely with the Head of Engineering, CTO and advisory board to lead product vision.
