Our client is a well-known Health System in New York and they are looking for a Director of Security Engineering to join their growing team on a full-time basis! The Director of Security Engineering will be brought on to run the Security Engineering Function. The role will lead the engineering team and deploy the firm's identity management, authentication, privileged access, network security, and endpoint security tools. The director will set security engineering standards, define the documentation and operational requirements, and drive the design of the security infrastructure. Work with the team to design the upgrade the Sailpoint IAM environment
- Design our next generation multi-factor environment and develop plans to migrate to password-less solutions
- Design and document the security agent environment for malware prevention, data loss prevention, encryption, and log management
- Develop budgets for the team and manage nearly 20 vendor relationships
- Hire, develop and train security engineering staff
- Manage large scale security engineering projects such as web proxy deployments and MFA migrations
- Set the ITIL requirements for the security engineering team in terms of documentation, change, problem, and incident management
- Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft Azure, SailPoint, and Privileged Access tools
- Experience level: Manager
- Minimum 10 years of experience
- Education: Bachelors (required)
