Citi's US Consumer business is a key market in the bank’s overall Global Consumer Bank segment. The US Consumer Bank (USCB) Shared Services Finance team works across multiple lines of business including Digital (USCD), Analytics (USCA), Operational Risk and Control (USCBORC) and also the Chief Risk Organization (USCRO). The team provides budget planning and strategic analysis to partners and works across the various products (Branded Cards, Citi Retail Services (CRS) and Retail Bank).The Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Group Manager is a senior management level position responsible for providing management with analysis and insight of Citi’s financial results in coordination with the broader Finance team. The overall objective is to manage professional team(s)/department(s) and apply analytical thinking/knowledge of data analysis methodologies to create and analyze reports that gauge Citi’s alignment with forecasted performance.We are looking for a highly analytical and dynamic individual to lead the USCB Shared Services Finance team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to support businesses with $700MM+ in Expenses across multiple Shared Services teams, with 2,000+ direct staff. Additional responsibilities for this role include managing the US Consumer Bank Finance organizational planning and transformation efforts as well as the USCB Head Office budgeting process. Responsibilities

Manage forward looking processes including forecasts, strategic/operating plans, monthly outlooks, and review results against plans monthly.

Lead a team in conducting month-end close processes including the consolidation of flash estimates, monitoring general ledger bookings, and creating detailed variance analysis and commentary for senior management.

Partner with the Heads of the various USCB Shared Services (Digital, Analytics, CBORC and Risk) in management of strategic and financial issues, manage costs (including allocation of expenses to products, functional transfers and headcount approvals), budgeting, reporting and planning while maintaining a high standard of controls.

Act as the liaison to the USCB products (Branded Cards, Retail Bank and CRS) as part of the financial planning processes; requiring a full understanding and integration into the planning processes, ensuring all inputs are provided into those processes.

Deliver on financial objectives including expense goals and productivity targets.

Represent the business at Finance and/or senior manager meetings.

Create an efficient business and reporting framework; manage production of accurate and timely financial reporting.

Lead and develop a high performing and motivated onshore team while balancing and embracing the offshore supporting structure.

Provide thought leadership around the evolution of the team and our ability to deliver on our stated objectives.

Additionally manage US Consumer Bank Finance organizational planning, transformation and site strategy analysis in support of the USCB CFO.

Qualifications:

BS (MBA, CPA, CFA, etc… a plus) in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field.

10+ plus years of relevant experience in finance leadership roles, including significant experience in Consumer Banking.

Ability to build and maintain relationships and interact at all levels of an organization and influence stakeholders on path forward; Support internal clients through an effective challenger model.

Excellent team leadership and partnership skills: ability to work with and influence senior management across both multiple levels of the organization and geographies.

Proven operational and financial leadership with ability to drive results.

Strong analytical and strategic thinking; Critical thinker/problem solver that can drive qualitative & quantitative analysis, embracing ambiguity in available data & input.

Excellent people leader: a track record of building, developing and maintaining a high performing team of motivated Finance professionals.

Bias for action: Track record of driving parts of large scale transformations and/or implementation of high-impact initiatives; Demonstrated success in driving change across organizations.

Excellent communication skills, including writing and presentation. The ability to understand and articulate complex financial concepts in layman’s terms to all levels of senior management is critical.

A pro-active self-starter who can continue to push concepts forward with minimal guidance.

Extensive background in financial planning, business analytics and related finance disciplines.

Proven operational and financial leadership with ability to drive results.
