DescriptionWe are in search of a determined Full Charge Bookkeeper for our client. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will handle bank reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, full cycle A/P, and payroll. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will also take care of the clerical staff. If you thrive with minimal supervision under tight deadlines, you might be the accounting detail oriented we're searching for this Bookkeeper role. This full-time employment opportunity is based in the New York, New York area.How you will make an impact

Operate monthly accounting close

Experience with Accounts Receivable

Accomplished in credit card management and reconciliation

Other distinguished projects when necessary

Complete cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.

Organize cash flow projections, as needed

Assemble monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents

Sustain Accounts Payable

Group sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments

Put subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirements together

File budget transfers

Outline business license and gross receipts

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Strong attention to detail

Notable accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred

Strong analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills

Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment

QuickBooks experience desired

BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must

3+ years of related experience- Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines
